Anne and Joan Found Great Things at Quilt Market in Salt Lake City
Anne and Joan had a great time at Quilt Market in Salt Lake City in May. The next few months will bring wonderful new fabrics, notions and patterns into the shop. Keep checking in. The Wedge Iron has finally found a home. This new Wedge Tote "Caddy Pad" has been custom made to fit the Wedge perfectly. Like other Caddy Pad patterns, it comes with heat resistant lining fabric for you to make your first tote. You, of course, will want to make more! This adorable little tote will open up to lay flat and become your personal ironing pad. Great for retreats or traveling.

Beginner's Table Runner Class with Jodi Paverud - June 25th
Join Jodi Paverud for a Beginner's Table Runner Class (including the quilting and binding) using the "X's" and "O's" pattern. This class is $20 and runs from 10 am to 5 pm. You can go home with a finished project!
Jodi has been quilting for over 20 years. She is fun, full of laughs and is a great addition to our teacher lineup. Jodi will help you understand the quilting basics from the ground up.
Tonga Gemstone BOM--Ready to Pick Up
There will be no formal meeting on Saturday, June 4, because of the Black Hills Quilter's Guild Quilt Show. Hope you plan to attend. Anne and Melissa are doing the demo at the Quilt Show on Saturday at 10 am. It will be a good one!
Row by Row Experience--We are Ready to Go June 21st!
Quilt Connection's 2016 License Plate is in the shop and can be purchased now. (Patterns and Kits available beginning June 21st.) This year's theme is Home Sweet Home. Shops (2655 of them) in all 50 states and Canada are busy planning their row and creating patterns. Combine your rows in any way to create a unique quilt. Collect the patterns for free by visiting the shops during the summer - June 21 - September 6, 2016. You have until October 31, 2016, to submit a quilt for a prize.
Remember, our row patterns and kits will be available June 21st. Also look through our inventory of patterns to use for your Row by Row project.

Black Hills Quilt Show and Sale--June 3-5 at Rushmore Plaza Civic Center
The 2016 Quilt Show sponsored by the Black Hills Quilters Guild will be held June 3-5 at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center in Rapid City. Hours are 9 am - 5 pm Friday and Saturday and 10 am - 4 pm Sunday.
There will be hundreds of quilts on display, vendor booths, and demos daily. Come spend some inspirational time with us!
