Come learn the basics of quilting while constructing a small baby quilt. You will leave this class knowing how to choose and use thread, needles, cutters and rules, and how to choose the best fabrics for your project. You will learn how to construct a nine patch and half square triangle blocks and how strip piecing makes block construction easy and fast! You need to finish that quilt! Binding is the last step (or next to last if you add a label). You?ll learn how to put binding strips together, miter the corners, and stitch or hand sew it down. This is a 1-2 hour class.

Learn to machine quilt on your home machine. If you have ever wanted to give machine quilting on your home machine a try, this is the class for you! You will learn how to set up your space, put your quilt sandwich together, and a number of quilting designs to stitch out. Machine Quilting Idea Book is recommended but not necessary to take the class.
