Come learn the basics of quilting while constructing a small baby quilt. You will leave this class knowing how to choose and use thread, needles, cutters and rules, and how to choose the best fabrics for your project. You will learn how to construct a nine patch and half square triangle blocks and how strip piecing makes block construction easy and fast! All of this is done while meeting new people and enjoying being a part of the quilt community in a small group. Space is limited so sign up soon! Only 8 seats available.

A pieced border workshop Which border will be your favorite? In this class we will use the Easy Angle and Companion Angle to piece several border which you might use around a favorite single block or a pretty panel. Maybe you are part of a Round Robin group and you need some new ideas for the next round. This class will help you! When our day is done, you will have 18” samples which could be put together as a table runner or simply a set of samples, ready to inspire the edges of your next quilt.

Join Us for Our Free Wool Appliqué Open Sew Day! Calling all wool enthusiasts—mark your calendars for a delightful afternoon of creativity and camaraderie! We invite you to our FREE Open Sew Day at Quilt Connection, happening every Thursday from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Please note: This is not a class, and no formal instruction in wool appliqué will be provided. This event is for stitchers to gather, enjoy, and work on their own wool appliqué projects in a fun, social setting. No need to sign up—just show up!

Join us for an evening of sewing with friends, where you're free to work at your own pace on any project that sparks your creativity. Whether you're arranging blocks from years past, hand piecing or doing wool appliqué, even cross stitch, come get those UFO’s off the shelf and finished! Cost includes pizza and the space to work, but please bring your own drink in a securely sealed cup. If you have allergies, feel free to bring your own food for a worry-free experience. Let's finish up those UFO’s and socialize together! Must register so we can plan space accordingly and know how much pizza to order! Please let us know if you will need machine space or hand project seating. We're excited to see this group of sewers come together to tackle some of your overdue projects! Machine space is limited to make sure you call and reserve your spot or spots if you are bringing friends!
