Pillow of the Month
The Month 2 Pillow of the Month is perfect for Valentine's Day and is ready for pick up. The Month 1 Pillow of Penguin Snowmen is still available if you missed it. They can be purchased as a kit or pattern only. We also have the pillow form for sale for $21.00 if you do not want to make your own pillow form. You only need one, as the cover can be changed each month. The kits vary in price, depending on the amount of material and embellishment that is needed but are very reasonably priced.

2017 Hoffman Challenge Fabric, Mastery, Has Arrived!
We just received our fabric for the 2017 Hoffman Challenge, Mastery. 2017 marks the 29th year of the challenge. The selected 2017 Hoffman Challenge Fabric (#P4299) must be used in the body of the quilt top, or for appliqué quilts, the Challenge Fabric must be used in more than one spot. At least 50% of the artwork needs to show Hoffman fabrics, and they can be of your choice — whether from the 2017 Challenge collection or from your own personal stash collected over the years. Get started soon as digitally submitted entries must be received online by July 9, 2017 via ArtCall. More information is available here.

Black Hills Stock Show and Rodeo- January 27-February 5th
It's time once again for the BH Stock Show and Rodeo. We look forwarding to seeing all of you that will be attending. We will have demos set up and waiting for you. Stop in to chat, have a cup of coffee and check out sewing machines as well as books, patterns, kits, unique notions and beautiful new fabrics along with tempting specials thrown in!! AND we will also be doing a demo at 1:30 on Tuesday, January 31st at the Quilt Show being held at Rushmore Plaza Civic Center. (Please double check the time in case the schedule changes.)

SOYO Winter Retreat -- January 20-22, 2017
Mark your calendar now! Black Hills Quilters Guild Winter Retreat is January 20-22, 2017. It will be held at the Comfort Suites, 1333 North Elk Vale Road, Rapid City, SD. Find more information and registration forms under the Events tab at Black Hills Quilters Guild.

The Black Hills Quilters Guild sponsors a quilt display as part of the Black Hills Stock Show and Rodeo. Enjoy three days of amazing quilts on display from regional quilting groups. The show will be at Rushmore Plaza Civic Center from 10 am to 7 pm. More information and a form for registering quilts will be available in early January at the Black Hills Quilters Guild website.
