Citrine, a Supernova Seasons Hoffman Spectrum Digital print panel, 44" wide of 100% cotton will get you in the mood for Halloween. See the quilt here and on display in the shop. Also, just in -- Halloweenie by Robin Kingsley of Bird Brain Designs for Maywood Studio. See the Sweet Treats Quilt (free pattern, 55" x 54") made using the Halloweenie group.

JoAnn Hoffman Workshop -- July 29th 9 am to 3 pm

Come spend the day with us as JoAnn Hoffman shares her tips and tricks. We will have kits for sale or you can bring one that you have started and just need some help. You can work on any of JoAnn's patterns. She will be here to help you. The class number is limited so JoAnn can give all students personal attention. Sewing Machines will not be needed. Cost is $35 plus supplies.

We now have the Laser Cut, Pre-fused Kit for JoAnn's Dance of the Dragonflies.

This stunning quilt kit features Hoffman Bali Hand-dyed fabrics precut for applique onto the digital-print panel Supernova by Jeanie Sumrall-Ajero. (DIGITAL PANEL IS NOT INCLUDED.) Quilt kit includes hand-dyed fabrics that are pre-cut and pre-fused. Each customer adds Supernova panel in color of her or his choice. Finished size is 40″ square. Dance of the Dragonflies quilt design and instructions by JoAnn Hoffman.

Learn great tips and techniques on the DESIGNER EPIC™ Sewing and Embroidery machine, as you "upcycle" an old pair of jeans into something new and fabulous! Grab those denim bell-bottoms you never wear (or pick up a pair at the thrift store) and indulge in some creative studio time!

The presenter, Marsha Kirsch, is enthusiastic, lively and masterful. She enjoys creating and designing garments, purses and home décor projects. When selecting a pattern or design, she finds unique ways to give them an individualized creative touch, especially through embellishment.

Hunter's Star Quilt Class with Patti Heintz -- July 22 9 am to 4 pm

Patti Heintz, Studio 180 Design Certified Instructor, will be teaching a Hunter's Star Quilt Class for us using the Studio 180 pattern and the Rapid Fire Hunter's Star ruler. Mark your calendar for this fun event. We have the pattern and ruler in the shop now, as well as several others from Studio 180, so stop by and take a look. We also have a sample of Patti's work in the shop. Cost for the class is $35. From Anne, "I was introduced to this technique over a year ago and have just not pursued it so am very happy that Patti Heintz is a Certified Instructor and will be sharing her knowledge with us."


2017 Row by Row Experience is Off and Running!

Row by Row, On the Go is the theme for the 2017 Row by Row Experience. Quilt Connection's 2017 License Plate, pattern and kits are in the shop and can be purchased now.

How does Row by Row work? Collect free patterns by visiting participating shops in all 50 states, Canada and Europe during the summer--June 21 - September 5, 2017. Combine your rows in any way to create a unique quilt. You have until October 31, 2017, to submit a quilt for a prize. More information at the Row by Row Experience website. Time to get started rowing!!
