Ready for an EPIC Adventure? We've got one!!

Register now for this Jean-ious Studio EPIC Event with Marsha Kirsch - September 19th

Tuesday, September 19th, is an all-day, 9:30 am to 4:30 pm, hands-on, fun-filled studio event at Quilt Connection. This is the perfect way to try out the DESIGNER EPIC™ Sewing and Embroidery machine and learn great tips and techniques. Come see what it can do and how user friendly it is. Grab those denim bell-bottoms you never wear (or pick up a pair at the thrift store) and indulge in some creative studio time!

Great discounts and add-on opportunities will be offered. Cost is only $35 and includes lunch!! Call 355-0178 to register. Please sign up as soon as possible as space will be limited and we will need a count for getting machines here so everyone can work on their own.

A Note from Anne

July has been a tough month for me.  My knee replacement went well, but there were a few complications afterward that put me down. I have the best staff that anyone could ever dream of and they have all gone above and beyond to keep the shop on track and all of our great customers taken care of. A very heartfelt thank you to all of them -- Jodi, Patty, Toniette, Kathy, Melissa, Judy, Jean, Alana, Carol, and Tracy.

Wooly Felted Wonders Dryer Balls Have Arrived!

Use these Wooly Felted Wonders Dryer Balls when washing and drying your quilts as well as other laundry. These natural and energy efficient reusable dryer balls made of 100% New Zealand wool can be used instead of costly and disposable dryer sheets and liquid fabric softener. They last for 1,000+ loads!! Use 4 - 6 balls in your dryer and static electricity is eliminated (depending on size of load). Drying time can be reduced up to 20%. Add a couple of drops of your favorite essential oil to make it even better. Wooly Felted Wonders Dryer Balls are available in light, gray and dark brown.

Want to Build Snow Buddies?

Would you like to participate in a class using the Snow Buddies table mat pattern from Primitive Gatherings? Beth Mazzella has agreed to teach a class if there is enough interest. Check out the sample of this 18" x 25" table mat the next time you are in the shop. Please let us know if you would like to take a class. If enough are interested we will contact Beth and make arrangements to get one on the schedule.

The Margo Wallet Bag is a compact design, yet has a place for everything you carry. A convenient set of pockets under the flap holds ID and credit cards securely, yet easy to access. On the back exterior is a zippered pocket for a phone. The interior of the bag has a zippered pocket and set of patch pockets for holding other essentials. An adjustable shoulder strap makes this bag easy to wear cross body or over one shoulder. Bag Dimensions: 9” wide, 7 1/2” tall, 4” deep at base.

Beginning Paper Piecing Series Begins September 20th -- Melissa Grote, Instructor

This new series will be offered alternating months and features patterns by Judy and Judel Niemeyer. Quiltworx has teamed up with Cut Loose Press™ to develop these introductory paper-piecing block project patterns designed for one-day workshops. The Stained Glass Window pattern will be used for the first class. Call 355-0178 for more information or to register.


Stitcher's Garden Final Class and Catch Up Day Scheduled

The August 2nd classes are the final ones for this year's Stitcher's Garden series. A special Catch Up Day has been scheduled for September 23rd from 9 am to 4 pm. Bring your machines and any incomplete blocks for fun and finishing! Kathy will be here to assist.

Row by Row, On the Go is the theme for the 2017 Row by Row Experience. Quilt Connection's 2017 License Plate, pattern and kits are in the shop and can be purchased now.
