The kit includes the pattern and all of the wool to applique the fish (23 different colors).
The pattern says you need the following:
Cotton for Fish Backgrounds - Four Fat Quarters
Sashing and Inner Border - 1/2 yard
Outer Border - 1/3 exactly, buy more just in case!
Binding - 1/4 yard
Backing - 1 1/4 yards
